As you can see, we will be adding a new assignment for each subject daily in each of your Google classrooms.  You should have joined a Math, ELA, Social Studies and Science Google Classroom. Mrs. Jauregui and Mrs. Calderon will both be adding work to Math and ELA.  It is important that you check each Google classroom daily and keep up as best you can with the assignments. For this first week of distance learning, all assignments will be due on different dates next week. Check each assignment for its due date.  If you have questions, email us at jauregui_lorena@ausd.us ; calderon_valerie@ausd.us ; ortiz_erin@ausd.us

Parent Letter Distance Leaning

Dear Parents & Students,

During this unusual and difficult time, we want to make sure that you have
the opportunity to continue learning so that you will be well prepared for next year.

With that in mind, we will begin “Distance Learning” on Monday March 23rd.
We will use Google Classroom as our platform for assigning and monitoring
your work and progress. The codes you will need will be listed below to help
you join the individual subject classes. You will be able to log in and access
your assignments for each week and will submit your work on a google doc.
You may communicate with us through Google Classroom and ask questions as needed.

We will not be assigning work over Spring Break. In the meantime,
we hope you will set aside time each day for school work, silent reading, and study.
Making a daily schedule that you follow each day will help you to be successful.
We miss you and are hopeful that we can return to normal school very soon.
Stay safe, be careful, stay healthy and focus on being successful.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Jauregui, Mrs. Calderon and Mrs. Ortiz
